Saint Patrick Cemetery (Pleasant Hill Township, Winona County, Minnesota, USA)

Also known as Ridgeway Cemetery Pleasant Hill Township. Minnesota An acre of land was donated by a Mr. Cooper in 1872 for the purpose of building a Catholic church. The church was erected during 1872-73 and a short time afterward, the congregation purchased an adjacent acre to be used as a cemetery. The first person buried therein was John McCaffrey who was born in Mayo, Ireland. He served in Co. K II Minnesota Infantry and died July 14, 1873. There are 250 marked graves. This is still an active cemetery. (Text by C. Kay)
